I NEED SOME FRIENDS...

I JUST WANTED TO SHARE THAT I FINALLY HAVE A DATE... I DONT REALLY HAVE ANY FRIENDS HERE AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMEONE TO TALK TO THAT IS CLOSE TO ME (EUNICE,LA)  OR NOT  NEVER TURN A NEW FRIEND DOWN...LOL... I AM HAVING MY SURGERY IN LAFAYETTE WITH DR CHU... DEC 1...

congrats on your upcoming surgery.  Dec 1 is right around the corner.  I'm in New Orleans and my surgery is Jan 5.  Feel free to add me.  I could use all the friends and support in this process.

Hey Angie, I live in Chalmette in St Bernard Parish.  If you don't mind me asking, where are you having your surgery? They (insurance) made me go to Lafayette to have mine done on the 18th of dec. Thanks, Kelli

hey u girls ...thanks so much... I need some support from ppl who have been through and or going through what I am....My family is not against what I am doing but neither are they supportive. anyway thanks again....soo very much....I start all the pre op test on the 17th, and like anyone else I am scared. I also have an issue with the Anestassia...my grandfather died from a reaction he had to it ...it is actually a disease that I could possibly have. There are some know anesthesia that can trigger it. I made sure to make it known about this possibility. Now just the normal what if's....My surgeon is soo very good tho and I trust her (Dr. Chu)  thanks again.

Best of luck to you.  I'm three years post-op and am doing great.  I lost 110 lbs. and am maintaining.  It is work - you have to go into this willing to make the changes, but it is so worth it.
